Polaris Home Care is amazing! They’ve been helping my grandma, who struggles with bad arthritis and memory issues for several months now. What I love most is that they don’t just focus on personal care — they focus on her as a person. Her caregiver helps her with her daily needs but also goes above and beyond by making meals with her, listening to her stories about her childhood, and encouraging her to garden again. When my grandpa had a fall, we weren’t sure how he could continue living at home. Polaris Home Care stepped in immediately and provided a caregiver who not only helps him with his physical needs but also brings laughter and positivity into his day. We only had 24 hours notice to arrange care before being discharged from Stanford Hospital, and they were able to identify a caregiver who was the perfect fit from the start. My mom has always been fiercely independent, so convincing her to accept help was not easy. The Polaris Home Care team handled it with such patience and respect. They matched her with a caregiver locally in Palo Alto who understood her personality and gave her space while still being supportive. My father was unexpectedly hospitalized and required care giving to transition back home. This was the first time needing a care giver and we appreciated the suggestion from El Camino Hospital to reach out to Polaris. We appreciated Joseph who connected really well with my dad, explained the process clearly, and helped us get care set up quickly to be there the day after my dad arrived home.  Our main care giver, Danny, was a wonderful fit for my dad, and I felt at ease knowing that he had excellent support while he recovered.
