Mountain View

Mountain View

Named for the beautiful views of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Mountain Viewis known as one of the nicest towns in Silicon Valley to live in. Today Mountain View is home to tech giants including Google, Mozilla and Intuit. Mountain View is also home to over 7,000 senior citizens. Polaris Home Care has been reliably serving the senior citizens population of Mountain View since 2016.

We at Polaris work closely with the surrounding hospitals, including O’Connor Hospital and Palo Alto Medical Center. We also work closely with the skilled nursing facilities in the area, such as Mountain View Healthcare Center and Grant Cuesta Subacute Rehabilitation Center. We assist with discharge services for our clients and transportation back to their homes.

At Polaris Home Care our caregivers are licensed, insured and bonded with the state of California and are required to complete extensive training prior to working with clients. In addition to state required training, our caregivers also complete additional training on specialized conditions including Alzheimer’s and Dementia, Stroke, Diabetes and Hospice Care to name a few. We work directly with the physicians, social workers, therapy teams and other medical professionals to assemble a personalized and effective care plan for each of our clients.

Polaris Home Care stands out among home care companies in the Bay Area in a number of ways. Polaris employs a registered nurse on our staff that is available by phone to all of our clients and the family of our clients 24 hours, seven days a week. Polaris Home Care also specializes in fall prevention, the most common problem among senior citizens, with our Polaris 365 Medical Alert Program. Our state-of-the-art fall alert pendant is top of the line, alerting up to five emergency contacts at a time.
